Arsène Wenger has made things clear concerning the interest of Bayern.
Following the dismissal of Niko Kovac, the Bayern Munich is looking for a new coach since a few days. Quickly, the name of Arsene Wenger appeared in the press, before the German title does flunks the technician French in the German press. This Friday, the former coach of Arsenal has responded to make things clear.
“My name came out of nowhere, little by little, without that I don’t have anything to do with it. And Wednesday afternoon, Rummenigge has called me. I have not been able to take it and, out of politeness, I recalled. There has been very little discussed, four or five minutes maximum. He told me that he had given the team to Flick to the next two matches (one of C1 against Olympiakos on Wednesday, and the clash against Dortmund on Saturday, editor’s note). And he asked me if I was interested, possibly because they are looking for a coach. I said to him : ‘I’ve never thought about it, it requires a degree of reflection’. It was agreed that we would be called next week. There we are. (…) For my part, I wish good luck to Bayern, and my situation is resolved” he explained on BeIN Sports.
