Nzonzi, the midfielder of Roma
In an interview with beIN Sports, Steven Nzonzi, the midfielder of Roma, has remained vague on his future at the capital club. The French international admits that he had difficulty integrating into the championship, but does not hide behind the sacre picked up in Russia. The world champion arrived this summer from FC Seville and has played in 28 league matches this season.
“I tried to immerse myself quickly in the season,” he explains. “There are difficulties that are arrivals, but it is more compared to the work performed. I didn’t feel in the best physical conditions. I don’t have the impression that this is in relation to the World. It is true that it is not as easy to bounce back after experiencing strong emotions such as win a World Cup. I am especially glad not to have had significant injury and having played a lot of matches”. Nzonzi then made a quick dot on the mercato, which is of interest to several clubs in L1. “I don’t look absolutely not what is said. The people around me do talk about me not because they know that I don’t like it. I don’t listen to what people say, or where they send me. For the moment, I am focused with the Roma, then we’ll see…”
