Motta disappointed by Antero Henrique.
The ex-coach of the U19 Paris Saint-Germain, Thiago Motta, was entrusted in the course of a long interview to The Team, on his departure from the capital and its complicated relationship with Antero Henrique. “I would have been able to stay but I asked for certain things at the club, as on the constitution of my membership for the following season or to give a more important place to the team of under 19 years of age and not more to the reserve. But I’ve never had a response to Henrique. After the choice has been made to remove the reserve, I am not quite agree… This is not what I had proposed. And then, I was called to interview for a penalty, there, I said to myself that nothing would change”, he regretted.
The Italian was disappointed by the lack of communication of the former sporting director of PSG. Motta has also regretted the attitude of the Portuguese, which is unfavourable to an extension. “Twice. A time to speak with me ; the other time is when he announced to the reservation that it would no longer exist, the following season, two days after I had forewarned my leaders that I wanted to lead the under 19’s next season. I was surprised by this choice because, if you eliminate your reserve, automatically, you give more importance to the under 19 years of age…”, he entrusted before discussing the episode for its extension. “When he arrived at the club (2017), editor’s note), I understood that he didn’t want me to, because he tried to go back on the agreement that I had for a one-year extension and a conversion in the club. They made me sign my contract – which was ready for weeks – at 2 o’clock in the morning the night before the preseason… It was going to hurt.”
