It was incredible, a great feeling. I rarely get such a chance, we took it. So far this is the biggest win of my career.
You have been in my collection a medal?
Yes. From the Olympics to youth, representations of our region won the bronze. But this is clearly the most.
As you have seen a masterful season from his point of view?
The season was great. Even when we changed coach, we built it correctly and we did it. Finally, we have achieved huge success.
Prague Sparta you humble yourselves in two duels. What decided about your triumph?
First of all a huge fighting spirit and the strength of our team. In the second match we were losing by two goals, but we didn’t give up and earned the victory. The fans were great, constantly taking us forward.
Let’s go to the beginning. What were your first hockey steps?
Hockey I play in Třinec from four years. Daddy went to prep school every time we had training. The beginnings’t really recall, but it was definitely a great decision to start playing hockey. Even if it’s hard work.
And certainly no less challenging is to combine hockey with school. You study in Třinec, but in Český Těšín.
I go to a Polish grammar school. It’s hard, but it’s doable. Though I have an individual study plan, it takes discipline and honest work.
How looks your typical day during the season?
In the morning I’m going to school and in the afternoon for training. As my homeroom teacher, and the principal of a school I go to meet, for which I warmly thank. I’m in the third year, graduation awaits me next year.
And then what – hockey, or high school?
So far, that I don’t work out, I still have a year time. the best would be to somehow connect.
You will find in your career a breakthrough moment?
It’s hard to say. From childhood I tried to in hockey came as far away as possible, so I had experienced. It was necessary to work hard and not give up on it. When I endured for so many years, it would be a shame to wrap it up.
Maybe it’s time you pull up to the play-offs as.
It’s my dream. This year I have one done, I played a few matches in the representation. A lot of psyched, in the national team, I would like to keep it as long as possible.
Can you tell, who is your favourite player?
It’s Connor McDavid from Edmonton. On the hockey I see in general, in addition to Ironworkers favorite team I don’t have.
