It is now official, after having refused the position of head coach for the Los Angeles Lakers Tyronn Lue joined the rivals of the Clippers.
According to the insider, the NBA Shams Charania, Tyronn Lue has agreed to join the Los Angeles Clippers as an assistant coach, a principal in the staff of Doc Rivers. Before that, he had been considered the leading candidate for the position of head coach for the Lakers. After complicated negotiations, he had finally left the negotiating table. An Assistant to Doc Rivers in Boston (2011 to 2013) and the Clippers (between 2013 and 2014), Lue had remained close to his mentor. Now, the two men find themselves with very large ambitions for the next season. After winning a title with LeBron James in 2016, and experienced two NBA finals later, T-Read will now be the face of the King.
